The Goa visit

Day 1: start of late -to catch the flight. hurry burry get in and settle down. Have Sanja ask 101 question on when it wil ltake of, when the blades will spin.Feed chapati when stationed at B'lore. Then land at Goa around 1:30 pm. First thing that hit us was the heat. Even chennai was colder compared to Goa. Then travel for 1 hour to reach the resort. Paradise valley.Settle down in the suite. Head to a resturant -have some snacks as it is late for a lunch (and they didnt have lunch).We could see the Calangute beach from here. The hotel had a back entry to beach!!.
Sanja wanted to get into swimming pool.
Roamed about ,familiarized with the place. GOt some cool chappals.

Day2: The most hectic day. Being our wedding anniverary day, we all donned new dress. Headed for a quick breakfast. Waited for outrtour bus to South Goa.
Place we visited: - Dolphin  visit (which we didnt go).  marimar beach. mangeswar temple. shanthi durga , bom jesus, st.basilica.(Francis Xavier)-his body. Lunch, colava beach,aquarium, coral queen - cruise.
At the end of day we had travelled aprox 590 km. So , guess who puked this time - me. While S and Sanja managed to keep up with the travel.It left me with a bad headache and vomiting.
We cancelled our trip for North goa the next day.

Day 3:
Lazed around the beach and playd a lot building sand mountains, making holes and the lot.
Had a lunch, a nap and again a walk.

Day 4: Took a Duro (we get motorcycle/scooter  on rent). visited For Aguada, Sequirium beach. Had finally coffee at Coffee day. Found an udipi resturant - had dosa, idli and mumbai pav bhajji. -yummy.

Day 5: Went to the beach again and played to the extent possible. had a quick lunch. Boarded th flight back to Chennai.

Sanja turns into mother hen !! Yesterday night we (S, mil, fil , sil , sanja , kicha ( sil's almost 2 month old son)) were having some discussion in the hall. S went to get the fruits for the night-banana. Sanja doesn't eat them, she is in borderline of whether to taste it or not and mostly gives up the banana. My thoughtful daughter

Sanja had been to a wedding yesterday with her maternal grandparents. She had a great time playing my father's friend 's grandkids.  She behaved like a very good girl and ate without much fuss. The curds were served in Matkas (small earthern cups). Sanja at once declared that she will take her cup back home for her mother. She made granny clean it up and took hold of it as priced possession. When everyone asked her why she is taking it with her , her reply  Amma paint panuva, papa amma ku kuduka poren. (Amma will paint it, Iam going to give it to her) . The background , she saw me painting the Diyas for Karthigai deepam this wednesday. She kept asking me Amma , painting pannare ya ma (Amma are you painting). and remembered to get that earthern pot fo me . Ahhh, gal, I learnt from you today, though the gifts can be small, they will be priceless when given with sooooo much of love.  Hugs to you Darling !!
